Young dancers will learn fundamental ballet and tap technique, terminology and musicality. They will focus on connecting movements, traveling steps, coordination and working with other dancers in a fun and creative environment.

Pre-Dance - 1hr. ages 2.5-4 

 Any color leotard with pink  or caramel tights. Ballet skirts and ballet sweaters allowed. Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail or bun.

* These classes perform 2 routines in the recital.

A high energy class full of fun for our minis. This class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of Acrobatics and basic Jazz technique. Dancers will build strength and confidence in themselves by learning how to perform beginner and intermediate acrobatic elements such as: forward rolls, hand stands, cartwheels, round-offs, bridges and more. Students will improve their coordination, musicality and memorization of choreography.  This class is perfect for the younger dancer who can not decide on one style.

*Studio B is a certified school with Acrobatic Arts and follows the AcroDance Preschool Program. This program is designed to introduce physical literacy, coordination, creative movement and basic acrobatic skills.

 Any color fitted top, bra top, leotard, biketard, leggings or dance shorts. Hair must be off the face and pulled back in a ponytail or bun.

Ballet is a classical dance form characterized by grace, precision of movement, elaborate formal gestures, steps and poses with a strong focus on proper body alignment. Classes will focus on carriage of the upper body, movement quality, ballet terminology and technique through the execution of barre work, center, and across the floor exercises. Ballet provides a solid technical base for all other dance forms.

This class will consist of a warm up that will help increase flexibility, isolations of the body and focus on proper Jazz technique. Dancers will focus on placement, terminology, transitioning steps, turns, jumps, leaps and more.

A style of expressive dance that combines elements of several genres including Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Classical Ballet. Contemporary tends to include themes and ideas vs a concise story. Dancers will explore floor work, levels, space, accents, patterns, and phrasing.

 Classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of Tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm Tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, timing and precise rhythmical patterns which allows them to make music with their feet.
